Robyn Garrett, LCSW
Robyn Garrett is a New York State-licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in social work from New York University. Her therapy practice specializes in providing nourishing and compassionate support to clients as they navigate the complex emotional experiences that are part of becoming and being a parent. This focus is rooted in a deep understanding of how difficult each step of the journey can be, from fertility to birth to raising a child.
Robyn has supported women and their partners through infertility, fertility treatment (IUI, IVF), fertility preservation, third party reproduction, pregnancy loss (miscarriage, abortion, reduction, and stillbirth), medicalized pregnancy, traumatic birth experiences, and perinatal mood disorders (postpartum depression, anxiety and OCD). She has completed mental health certificate programs at Postpartum Support International (PSI) and The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Robyn enjoys working with all types of people, and her practice is affirming and inclusive to the BIPOC, Latinx, and L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ communities. She works with adults living anywhere in New York State, with most clients hailing from the Hudson Valley and New York City.
